Hey all, well I have been having a busy if not crazy week what with the school holidays and a crazy kitten who has become obsessed with my bedroom, every time I turn around she has dragged out something from in there. We have had scarves, socks and not to mention the cliche balls of wool. I really need to go and check out what else is lying around lol. I have also been having heaps of fun with my online course.
I have been creating a colour journal which is such a cool idea. I will share some pic’s of that in the next couple of days. And trying to find what inspires me has been very interesting 😉
Here are a couple of paintings that I completed this week, they were experiments and were done on watercolour paper which I have never used before. I have to say it was alot of fun.

I have thought about getting on the art journal bandwagon but just haven’t made that leap yet. I make art of course for myself but I always have in the back of my mind to eventually sell it. That’s why I hesitate on the journal. Part of me is yes, it would be cool, but another part of me is, that would be a lot of work to put into something mainly for myself. Does that make sense?
I do absolutely love looking at other peoples journals though and look forward to yours.
I totally get what you mean Sherry, I have always thought the exact same thing! I am enjoying the process and am kinda looking at it as a practice book more than anything, I’m just not that deep, and I bet my thoughts certainly wouldn’t impress most people lol 🙂
