Hi wonderful peeps π I have finally finished my first piece using some of the new techniques I have learned during my online course. I have to say I am really going to miss it!! I might have to become an online course junkie and look for another one to do.
This piece is titled “Red” for obvious reasons π
It is a mixed media piece created using papers acrylic paints, pastels, pencils and all sorts of yummy media, slapped onto an art board and ready to hang π
Stay tuned!! π

Thank you so much, I was quite pleased with how it turned out π I appreciate your comment!
Lovely and beautifulβ€
Many thanks Violet π
Madame Kelly this art reach the celestial sphere, the details are amazing!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Thank you Nonoy, your comment is wonderful. I appreciate it so much!!
She is gorgeous, and I can see why she is called Red. I hear you on the e-course addiction, I’ve been checking out a few for my next purchase, but all the ones I want to do are out of the budget at the moment π¦ Let us know what you decide to do next!
Hi Cassandra, thanks you so much π I have to admit I just signed onto Drawing with Tascha e-course. Very naughty of me as I really need to stop spending for awhile lol.
She’s beyond fsntastic Kelly! I love all of the details and texture and Red in the cloak that way.
Hi Lydia, thank you so much, I have to say I had so much fun doing this one π
Love, love love it! All the layers, and textures and colours…and so many things to draw the eye, yet the overall effect is one of serenity with a touch of cheekiness! Very cool…
Wow thanks so much for the absolutely wonderful comment, you have really made my day!! π
You deserve it! I don’t think people can appreciate how hard it is to put together a cohesive and detailed work that has such impact until they actual try doing it…you notice a lot more when you actually start to play around with mixed media and I can see all the intricate details and work that went into it…besides, I still say that it’s just plain cool lol
Haha, thankyou it’s nice to talk to a kindred spirit π I asked my husband yesterday what he thought of a piece I was working on (I was quite pleased with it myself lol) his reply was “mmm okay” I said “don’t you like it is something wrong with it” his reply “no it’s fine” (No wonder I started a blog lol)
Ha ha! I usually get “ummm…hmmm…what’s that white squiggly stuff” or “this one actually looks like something” :o)
Looking good, Kelly. Reminds me of the new TV show, Once Upon a Time on ABC. π
Haha, that’s totally what inspired me. That blasted series has me hooked (I don’t know if I should admit that lol) π
Great work. Where is the wolf?
Lol, this depicts Little Red after she went ninja on his furry rear π
Really fine work Kelly – the depth, detail and colour all unite to make a fabulous piece that is one of the best I’ve seen from you – kudos…
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment, it means alot. π
You are so very, very welcome Kelly…
These are great Kelly! I love the colors too and the character looks sweet…(-:
Thank you Sherry, I don’t know where the sweetness comes from π it definitely isn’t from within lol.
Ha, ha, ha! U R funny…(-: I guess sweetness is in the eye of the beholder!
Just spotted your gorgeous girl on Danita’s blog, thought I’d let you know π
